The Original and Standard WAFFLE Seat Cushions are recommended for patients up to 300 pounds. The Pediatric Seat Cushion is recommended for individuals under 100 pounds. All cushions may be used for comfort and treating and preventing pressure ulcers. Each cushion features a unique low profile design to provide safety and convenience for getting in and out of chairs, and the air venting holes allow heat and moisture to easily dissipate for a higher level of comfort. Most importantly, our seating cushions utilize the same static air technology of our top-selling mattress overlays to aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers up through Stage IV. Most WAFFLE Cushions are shipped inflated. However, you may need to adjust the inflation from time-to-time. In order to do so, we recommend the WAFFLE L.A.D.(Lower Air Delivery) Pump to inflate your WAFFLE Brand Cushion.
